I like the second. Lose the text though, and try to bring out the focal more, because atm it kind of looks like an abstract tag half blue and half red. So get rid of the blue lighting on him and have him with the original colors/lighting (maybe slightly adjusted) but instead of using the softbrush for lighting, use the dodge tool
